The forgotten children : national inquiry into children in immigration detention 2014

The Australian Commission on the Human Rights published its 2014 report establishing, in a first place, an assessment of the detention conditions in Australia. More than 100 children have lived on Christmas Island for more than a year without any education. The Commission gives the different standards, practical examples, the results of survey led towards children and their parents. 16 recommendations have been established in order to limit the children detention or at least improve the conditions of detention.
