The forgotten children: national inquiry into children in immigration detention 2014

The Australian Commission on the Human Rights published its 2014 report assessing the state of the detention conditions in Autralia. For example, more than one hundred children on Chrismas Island have lived more than a year without any education. The commission announced the different terms of reference, concrete examples, surveys led towards children and their parents. 16 recommandations have been established in order to limit the detention of children or at least to improve their condition of detention.
