Reception and living in families

Many unaccompanied children arrive in the European Union and this for numerous reasons. This goes from a child victim of human trafficking to a child willing to be reunited with his family for a better life. No matter their nationality of their status of migrant, these children are children and have to be treated as such. The common rights to protection and a special help from the UN have to be granted. This report establishes a focus on each member country of the EU in order to know their effective regulations on the foster family system
