Hidden injustice : lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth in juvenile courts

This document was one of the first to specifically focus on what lived and experienced the young lesbian, gay, bisexuals and transgender (LGBT) when they are confronted to juvenile justice. These young peoples keep on suffering from discrimination at home, at school and in the society in general which makes them even more vulnerable. This report identifies the obstacles to a fair treatment of the young LGBT in conflict with the law. Many recommendations are also included in the report aiming to protect the rights of the young LGBT and assure the implementation of an effective system responding to their needs.
